Meet the Team! Here are the guys who will be shearing your alpacas
Adam Riley "Mr. Clipper" USA and Europe: Shearer
My adventure with alpacas began many years ago, when my parents first decided to bring some home. At first I was skeptical, but very quickly I was won over. Every year we would have a few guys come fly through and shear our animals, and they'd leave several hundred dollars richer. My mother said, "you could do that" and sure enough she was right! I apprenticed with one of the best shearers in the country, Matt Best. He taught me a huge amount and I feel every year I do this I learn more about the animals, the owners and the fleece. My goal is to be the best shearer in the world, and I am actively working towards shearing on four continents year round.
Dan Mullett "lil' clip" USA and Europe: Shearer
Dan has been with Mr Clipper from the very beginning, and is an absolutely integral part of the shearing team. He is a cheeky brit with a great talent for shearing and a calm demeanor that puts the animals at ease. Dan is running the second team this year in both the USA and Europe.

John Christie : USA and Europe - Head Holder, Apprentice Shearer
Some of you may have met John last year on his trial run with the team, and this year John will be joining Dan as a full time assistant. Dont let his quietness fool you, Dan may have his hands full with this beast of an apprentice.
Craig Riley: USA- Head Holder, Apprentice Shearer
Craig is my older brother and looking to get into the family business! He lives and works on a full time alpaca farm and knows the in's and out's of these critters. He's gonna take that experience and put it towards a thorough and competent head holding job, and also take the time to learn how to shear. Im looking forward to working with my bro and teaching him how to shear, and he's looking forward to helping out on your farm!
